It's time to showcase your culinary talent in the Econofoods Game of Chefs chefs' competition.

We are pleased to announce that  «GAME OF CHEFS 2026»  will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) during the Africa Food Show from June 10 to 12, 2026.

The event will take place in the ECONOFOODS culinary village and will be conducted according to WORLDCHEFS competition rules.

Competing teams will be given 150 minutes (2.5 hours) to gather ingredients from the ECONOFOODS pantry, plan a menu, prepare, and serve 15 sets of a 3-course menu, each served individually. 1 set will be reserved for display and photography, 2 sets — for presentation to the WORLDCHEFS – SA Chefs professional jury, and 12 sets — for invited guests.
