Who Can Become an Auditor

Category	Requirements
Sharia expert	Certification under SMIIC / a national standard, 2+ years of experience
Food technologist	A relevant higher education degree, 3+ years of production experience
QMS auditor	Experience conducting audits (ISO, HACCP, FSSC), knowledge of halal standards
Restaurant auditor	Experience inspecting kitchens, understanding of cross-contamination

Additional advantages:

• English (B2 level or higher)

• Experience participating in culinary competitions (as a judge or contestant)
